Ski socks SIDAS Ski Nordic Performance
High-quality, professional socks for cross-country and backcountry skiing consisting of up to 44% merino wool. Their design and parameters give the skier foot protection, comfort and efficient moisture wicking, as well as high precision and excellent “feel” of the cross-country ski boot. They reduce the risk of chafing and blisters.
There are three parameters of ski socks that are crucial for precision skiing: thickness (thickness), weaving technique (knitting) and material tension (tension). In Ski TOURING socks, the thickness of the fabric is low. Weaving with 200 needles and the use of In&Out construction resulted in the highest quality material available for socks, although the fabric tension on the foot and shin is high. All this makes them the ideal socks for people who care about uninterrupted contact with the ski boot and fast transmission of the impulse from the lower limb to the ski.
Ski NORDIC PERFORMANCE socks are equipped with a wide silicone anti-slip band integrated into the fabric above the ankle. It prevents the foot from sliding relative to the inner boot, which reduces the risk of chafing and blisters and improves the efficiency of movement during the approach.
The forefoot area uses a weaving technique that optimizes moisture wicking. This increases comfort, prevents feet from freezing and reduces the risk of chafing and blisters.
The socks are made of synthetic fibers and organic merino wool.The high content of merino wool is associated with excellent thermal insulation, as well as excellent breathability and efficient moisture wicking.These properties ensure comfort and warmth for the wearer. The In&Out construction used in the weaving of the socks ensures maximum smoothness and uniformity of the material.
Out of concern for our Planet, in creating the Ski NORDIC PERFORMANCE socks we used recycled fibers.
